Security Integration Technician / Project Manager

The Security Integration Technician will be responsible for:

• Development of installation project plans.

• Preparing for access control and digital CCTV system installations by reviewing installation orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools; coordinating schedules with customers.

• Designing and Implementing access control and digital CCTV systems by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.

• Verifying access control and digital CCTV system functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems.

• Maintaining records by documenting installation progress and issues, job costing information, and obtaining customer sign-off.

• Maintaining safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeping security information confidential.

• Keeping supplies ready by inventorying truck stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

• Ensuring timely maintenance of company vehicle.

• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

• Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job.

We are seeking a career-minded security systems Project Manager to fill an immediate opening.

 

Requirements / Experience:

 

Education:

• Technical background in CCTV, Access Control, Security, and electronic technology (low voltage)

• Understanding job safety practices

• At least 5 years experience with commercial Access Control, CCTV, and Security System installations.

• High School diploma, plus vocational training or equivalent

• Formal Project Management a plus.

Job Skills:

• Electrical background and knowledge of electric materials

• Successful experience with complex system installations

• Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives with little supervision

• Proficiency in systems applications and Microsoft Office

Systems Related Knowledge:

• GE Security Secure Perfect and/or Picture Perfect, AMAG, Lenel Systems experience and/or certifications preferred.

• Pelco and GE CCTV systems and Camera installation

• Familiarity with Matrix Switches, Multiplexers and DVRs

• Relay logic

• Familiar with electronic lock hardware installation

• Strong computer skills

• Understand and interact with LAN systems as part of an overall security installation

Employment Requirements:

• Must have valid Driver's license

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds

• Must be able to carry and climb ladders

• Must be able to handle and properly use common power and hand tools.
