Senior Systems Sales Consultant

We are looking to expand our sales team in the Tampa Bay area with a career-minded individual who will sell integrated CCTV and Access Control Systems in the Commercial, Government, and Construction Markets. Ideal candidate will come from the security systems integration channels.

Candidates must demonstrate high levels of integrity and diligence, and possess excellent follow-up skills. Candidates should be motivated by personal success and willing to grow with an emerging company.

Senior Systems Sales Consultant Job Description:

Call on existing and new commercial / institutional customers in the Tampa Bay area to sell large integrated CCTV and access control systems. Prospecting, estimating, proposal generation and presentations of security systems will be the majority of your job responsibility. You will also assist in the design and specification of the systems with systems engineering people.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell, with minimal supervision, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, and other low voltage integrated systems, persistently and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels.

  • Meet performance goals of sales, bookings, proposals / estimates, gross profit margins and new customers.

  • Identify customers through self generation of leads using vehicles such as Dodge, Lead Tracker, cold-calls, educational presentations, etc. and relationship building.

  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site surveys, perform takeoffs, develop proposals, and submit bids in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.

  • Build partnering relationships with owners or owner representatives responsible for the decision making process to drive the systems and services sales. Actively listen, probe and identify concerns. Understand the customer's business and speak their language. Demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.

  • Conntinually follow up with customers, maintaining strong relationships over time.

  • Make at least 15 sales calls per week.

  • Attend weekly Sales & Operations meetings. Provide weekly activity report (contacts and contact information). Effectively utilize personal computer and other technological tools as offered by the company.

  • Maintain involvement with industry related professional organizations.

  • Attend conferences and shows as determined by management.

    Senior Systems Sales Consultant Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct sales of large integrated access control/CCTV systems is required.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience.

  • Previous history of success in creating/developing accounts at top levels within the sales force

  • Contacts at the corporate level are required.

  • Must have a history of success in previous sales positions and a technical aptitude.

  • Demonstrable history of selling to owners/top executives at the customer level

    Senior Systems Sales Consultant Preferences:

    A Candidate with a background in the following product lines and disciplines is preferred:

  • GE Security Secure Perfect, Picture Perfect, and CCTV

  • AMAG Technologies

  • Lenel Systems

  • Pelco

  • Local Area Networking

  • CCTV Matrices and Multiplexers
